Abstract

This article is the result of the problems evidenced by the health situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this leaves in evidence the need for a means of transport that guarantees mobility in the city of Barranquilla and the preventive distance required to reduce the virus's transmission curve. From there the need to describe the mobility dynamics of the bicycle mobility as a means of individual and safe transport in the city of Barranquilla in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic. Overall objective developed in this work. It is a qualitative research, a type of descriptive study, where the advantages and disadvantages of the bicycle as a means of individual and safe transport were analyzed, among the main results are the advances in road infrastructure for the implementation of cycle routes. In the city of Barranquilla and the strategies proposed by the District Administration for the efficient and effective use of them.
