Artificial Intelligence As A Saving Instrument In The Decongestion Of Judicial Offices In Colombia

Abstract

Intelligence did not reach the law yesterday, its beginning did not minimize large tasks or generate the broadest impact, since the first AI systems were simple, that is, they consisted of the search for legislation and jurisprudence. As time went by, the designers of such systems included many more functions and made more and more work easier.

Progress does not stop, and there are countries that have more advantage or have taken more advantage of artificial intelligence applied to law than others. Colombia, for example, is about to launch a guardianship resolution system whose name is PROMETEA. That is why this research is aimed at identifying the impact that this tool could have in Colombia, based on the evidence of the development of similar systems implemented in other countries of the world.
