Bibliometric analysis of documents indexed in Scopus on ICT in education

The objetive is to perform as analysis of the Scientific production, registered in the Scopus data base about the use of the ICT in education and it main conception. The method used is a longitudinal descriptive concept, doing an analysis of the bibliometric indicators of the publicited references trough the VosViewer software. In the investigation were included: published documents, information on the quote, key word, summary and bibliographic references. The results obtained after the bibliometric analysis of 816 documents, show an occurrence of “index Key words” as a motivation, students, engineering technology and e-learning. The document sweeps key words, the most important clusters and the chronological development of key words. Also addresses tendens related to technologies of the information and communication, followed by teaching methods. As an end results was determined that the most influential authors are: Hakan Tuzun, Wannasiri Bhuasiri and Robert La Rose. As a conclusion is stablished that, the technologies of information and communication are a subject of great interest in the scientifict due to the number of publications written and the authors that write about it.
