Abstract

This essay investigates the traumatic emotional from the literary city represented in the novel The noise of things when falling by Juan Gabriel Vásquez. In it, the symbolism of the scar is distinguished as a form of therapeutic grief and reconstruction of the emotional in the character of Antonio Yammara.
