The emprendiment in front of the pandemic Covid-19 in the city of Pasto-Colombia

The paper is part of the study "Personality of the entrepreneur and entrepreneurship against COVID - 19, in the province of Carchi and the department of Nariño" outlines an investigation to evaluate the actions of entrepreneurs to maintain and / or create their organizations putting at stake their creativity, innovation and exploitation of opportunities in a difficult social environment or liquidate the company keeping in mind the perception of people. The sample consisted of 194 entrepreneurs with businesses in full economic activity during the period December 2020 - January 2021, over a period of five years, through the exploration of the statistical bases of Pasto. Among the results found are that most of the entrepreneurs who have maintained their businesses for at least five years are male with 57%, in contrast to 42% who are women and a minimum percentage of the LGTBI population. Finally, Nariñense businessmen demonstrated their resilience by using different strategies to continue their businesses despite the pandemic.
