The objective of this paper is to analyze how companies in the city of Cartagena are contributing to the social and labor inclusion of people with disabilities, starting from the term social competitiveness that can be defined as the capacity of the different agents and institutions to act joint and effective form in the territory. This article is descriptivereflexive, a theoretical and documentary review will be carried out through corporate
communication and corporate responsibility reports; the ways of generating inclusion with this population will be identified, taking into account that these companies have a responsibility in the social development of the region since it has been proven that they have had sustained financial growth. It is concluded that these companies do not show progress in the labor and social inclusion of people with disabilities; although there is commitment on the part of some companies that have evolved by incorporating the diversity approach; There is still a long way for people with disabilities to join as an interest group in these organizations and in this way they can access, stay and advance in a job in the formal labor market
