Social and cultural implications about e-learning

Distance education has evolved in recent years by leaps and bounds and its development has been closely linked to new technologies, especially the World Wide web de (internet). Modern societies grow around telecommunications networks rely on a constant growth and infrastructure in advance, sometimes this growth is such that some countries lack the resources to support it financially and structurally.
Usually, these advances have not been proportionate to the social and cultural changes needed in the current Network and Knowledge Society.
This article reflects on Information Technologies and Communications and the social and cultural changes associated with their implementation and use, the relationship between Society and Education Network, the new social, cultural and ethical drag the e-learning, and e-learning as an agent of social change.
