Social responsibility in public management: case of a municipality in the department of Bolívar

This research focused on analyzing the practices in the framework of social responsibility in the Mayor's Office of Turbaco, with the objective of identifying and analyzing the actions and programs implemented from the perception of the internal public working in this public entity. The study was carried out using a quantitative methodological approach, in which surveys were used as a data collection method. The results obtained provided quantitative evidence on the perception of the internal public on the practices of social responsibility in the Mayor's Office of Turbaco, allowing the identification of areas for improvement to strengthen the implementation of responsible practices by the administrative management. According to the results, it was found that the Mayor's Office of Turbaco has implemented CSR actions and programs to improve the collective welfare of stakeholders and promote social and environmental practices in the entity. The adoption of responsible practices has had a positive impact on administrative management, although areas for improvement were identified in terms of environmental responsibility and its interaction with the community that could further strengthen the implementation of responsible practices in the mayor's office; the results provide an important overview to promote a more effective and sustainable approach to social responsibility in the municipal entity.
