The green economy and its impact on business competitiveness in the region

The following article shows a systematic review of the literature, which made it possible to show the results of research production associated with the green economy and its impact on business competitiveness in the region. The data were obtained through the Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases over the last six years. The methodology used consisted of a five-step scientometric analysis (retrieval, migration, analysis, visualization and interpretation). The study was based on 1,784 articles, from which the research questions posed were answered. The analysis allows the identification of key variables such as human capital, sustainable development, competitive advantage, eco-innovation and collaborative economy.
