World container crisis the case of Colombia and Mexico. Desicion-making for companies and commercial policy

Abstract

This paper aims to integrate perspectives for organizations and policy makers on trade policy, as a result the expected impacts may be harsher in one country than in others, a situation that redirects the discussion to generate an adaptive and flexible policy in search of development. economical, providing alternatives for organizations to achieve an effective decision-making process. A correlation methodology is taken into account between the world container index and price levels in the context of the world  container crisis, for  Colombia  and Mexico, involving the analysis of variance, for the decision-making of companies and the government in Commercial Policy, applying a methodology for calculating correlations in order to determine the degree of relationship between the indices in both Colombia and Mexico, facilitating decision-making by companies and governments in the context of the global crisis. However, the effects of this crisis are investigated by the authors from this document taking into account a broad framework that involves the global container crisis, the supply chain and trade policy, using a correlational analysis between the world index of containers and the Consumer Price Index in order to investigate the particularities of the countries.
