For its dynamism and importance in the business world, management of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) becomes an essential element for the market, society and the environment over time over time. Through efficient management companies must achieve growth and sustainability decreasing mortality risk in their strategies and integrating social, environmental and economic aspects for corporate sustainability. As research tends to identify the determinants of corporate survival of SMEs in Villavicencio, in a manangement approach and sustainability. The results obtained show an industrial fabric made up of companies with more than 5 years, high formalization of strategic processes and organizational flexibility. In addition, there is a strong influence of the public sector in the market, dependence relations for success and business management focused towards sustainability leaving aside corporate sustainability strategies.
