Abstract

Logistics has the function of supplying the necessary inputs for the generation of products and services will not suffer interruptions, the logistic process is a determining factor in productivity and competitiveness of enterprises by the dynamics that injected into the production of goods and services In order to meet the needs of the country.

This research seeks, through the conceptualization of productivity and competitiveness, determining the importance of technology as an adjuvant factor in the competitiveness of SMEs in the logistics sector, for this will be taken as a benchmark national competitiveness policy and the use of information technology and telecommunications available to the sector,  this  will  allow  the  research  team  measured  the  degree  of  utilization  of  these resources and existing policies and determine the relationship with the competitiveness of enterprises.

To meet the objectives of the research will be a review of policies to promote competitiveness and Information Technology and Communications which seeks to characterize the actions of the companies under study. He also designed several questionnaires or interviews to determine the types of uses of ICT's, to determine the degree of utilization of these operations of these companies.
