Investment in science, technology and innovation and its impact on innovative performance, products, processes and the market
Keywords:
innovative performance, process, market, product, manufacturing companiesAbstract
This study analyzed the relationships between investment in Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) activities and innovations in performance (IND); product (INP), market (IM) and process (INP). An explanatory methodological design was used with analysis of variables and structural equations, through a survey of a sample of 1,572 organizations in the manufacturing sector in Colombia. The statistical approach used was that of variance, also known as PLS-SEM. This activities has a positive impact on innovative performance, the product, the process and the market. Most studies focus on the performance of new products, thus neglecting the importance of performance in the development of the process and its influence on the market.
