The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically transformed the global tourism landscape, and Bogotá has not been immune to its effects. This article examines the impact of the pandemic on the city's tourism sector between 2020 and 2023, analyzing both the challenges and opportunities that arose during this period. Through a mixed methodological approach, combining quantitative and qualitative analysis, we explore the relationship between investment in tourism projects and visitor arrivals, as well as the recovery strategies implemented. The results reveal a positive, albeit moderate, relationship between investment and visitor numbers, highlighting the importance of factors such as sustainability, digital transformation, and sector adaptability. The study concludes that while Bogotá has shown resilience, sustainable tourism recovery requires a comprehensive approach that addresses persistent challenges and capitalizes on emerging opportunities.
