Bibliometric analysis of cooperative governance in intersection with customer satisfaction
Keywords:
Cooperative governance, Client satisfaction, Bibliometric analysis, Corporate governance, Cooperatives.Abstract
The main objective of this research is to investigate the link between cooperative governance and customer satisfaction. In order to achieve this, a bibliometric analysis methodology is employed, which enables a methodical examination of the body of literature already written on the subject. This is predicated on the idea that cooperatives with strong governance or efficient decision-making will benefit all parties involved, but most notably the customers. After processing the data from the metasearch engine with the Biblioshiny program from the Bibliometrix package (part of the RStudio statistical suite), the following outcomes were obtained: there were 252 papers total from 1993 to 2024 that were reported, and 78.57% of them were magazine articles about administration and economics-related topics. China made the most contributions to the study's topic with 160, while Li S. was the most pertinent author. The China University of Mining and Technology and Sustainability (Switzerland) was the most significant organization and publication. Lastly, the thematic correlation map shows that "cooperative governance" was the dominant subject, with corporate governance serving as the foundational theme and the term "cooperatives" being closely associated with it.
