Management of green acquisitions through hierarchical analysis (AHP): topic applied to selection in the purchase of fire pumps

This research seeks to learn more about the issue of acquisitions or green purchases. Implementing a model in decision making such as the hierarchical analysis (AHP) in the selection and acquisition of fire pumps, carrying out a bibliographic review on green acquisitions, identifying the difficulties in the construction sector of civil works associated with issues of pumping systems against fire, building in such a way the pertinent criteria that will serve as a matriz to determine the degree of importance of each one, thus generating a methodology in decision making and applying a case study on 4 alternatives presented as an example for the development of the approach and can be replicated in the purchasing or procurement departments when developing construction projects where the purchase of a pumping system with sustainable guidelines has to be made.
