Adoption of governance and management practices in public entities

In order for companies to be more competitive, the influence of information technologies and their alignment with business processes in their strategic direction must be considered. Since the master's degree in information technology (IT) governance, governance and management practices have been adopted to achieve these objectives in different sectors. The purpose of the research is to manage the knowledge associated with the adoption of good IT governance practices in the public sector. This work shows an exercise of systematization of experiences, the background of the object of study is considered, then the stage of recovery, analysis and interpretation of experiences is carried out with the review and structuring of projects carried out in the sector. As a result, the systematization of the projects carried out is achieved, indicating the most used standards or reference frameworks such as IT Control Objective (COBIT) and ISO 27001, the models proposed with the respective guides and validations.
