In this paper it is proposed the design and implementation of a printed circuit board that allows the implementation of algorithms for digital audio signal processing in an economically embedded system. The possibilities of developing low cost and easy implementation prototypes were studied, the devices known as dsPIC® were shown very convenient for this purpose and for that reason they have been selected to realize the signal processing tasks. In order to design the board, it has been examined the current of this type of products, mainly by the company Microchip, and it has been established factors that allow the improvements in them. Based on a proposed general scheme and adding criteria of processing speed, energy consumption, price and development possibilities, a prototype was built with satisfactory results.
