A portrait of San Gil (Santander, Colombia) as a tourist destination, according to the reading of those who visit

The construction of a destination is basically based on three specific conditions, the attractions it has, the willingness of businessmen to create businesses thought out of respect for the natural and heritage resources of the region and the culture of the communities based on the service, thus having the possibility of generating competitive and comparative advantages in front of other destinations, in this order of ideas, it is imperative that the perception of the territory and its services have the tourists after having completed their journey, being this the Objective of the project, which was developed under a non-experimental transectional descriptive research design, based on the determination of the behavior of the visitors, the population was determined according to the register of visitors to the El Gallineral Natural Park, obtaining as a result the profile of the tourist who chooses the destination as an option to vacation, his city or country of origin, and its main contributions in terms of the culture and conditions of provision of services by the operators in the destination
