Abstract

The intellectual quotient (CI) has often been considered as the only important element in people's success, so over time different instruments have been created that measure this aspect, with the purpose of improving knowledge, through of the results obtained in each test. However, it is necessary to question, if the intellectual quotient really allows the triumph in the workplace, it seems that the combination of several variables that interact continuously and consciously deserves the same consideration. To demonstrate this it is prudent to identify some issues that have to do with intelligence, types of intelligence, creativity in the classroom and their influence in the workplace. Because what was previously relevant when hiring a company has changed; now it is necessary, not only analytical intelligence, but the mixture of various intelligences, which involve the intellectual quotient.
