Abstract

The present research was aimed at identifying the innovative elements in the pedagogical strategies of ICBF schools for parents in the south-west of Barranquilla. Theoretically it was supported by authors such as Parra (2003), Backer B. (2003), Hurtado B., De la Hoz K. and De la Hoz Y. (2015), Among others. The research methodology was developed according to criteria of mixed field research and with a paradigmatic approach of hermeneutics. The population consisted of three female teachers from ICBF community homes in the south-west of the Atlantic capital.  In order to collect the information, a semi-structured interview was used, which consisted of four questions to each interviewee. The results allowed to identify the elements in the pedagogical strategies used in the schools for parents of the ICBF of the south-west of Barranquilla, which threw the importance that these elements have at the moment of employing and planning any type of pedagogical strategy, since this will allow that the same ones increase their effectiveness and achieve a significant learning on the part of the participants.
