INFORMATION AND RULES FOR AUTHORS

STANDARDS FOR THE PUBLICATION OF ORIGINALS IN THE VIRTUAL MAGAZINE "PEDAGOGICAL HEXAGON".

Each author is entirely responsible for the content of his work, the spelling, the coherence and the other requirements of the written discourse. Papers must be original and not duplicated, i.e. they do not substantially coincide with an already published one, unless the article is reported to be a re-edition. This policy does not preclude the acceptance of an original rejected by other journals, or a complete paper following the publication of a preliminary study in the form of an abstract or poster presented at a scientific congress.

When submitting an original, the author should report any submission of the document to other journals, or any previous work that could be considered prior publication or duplication of an identical or very similar work.

On the other hand, the identity of those researched must be protected, therefore, no identifying information may be published in texts, photographs and various reports, unless such information is scientifically essential for the research and the researched person or persons have given written consent for its publication. This consent requires the researcher to know the original document intended for publication and this fact should be mentioned in the body of the article. Identifying data should be omitted if they are not essential, but the data of the researcher should not be altered or misrepresented to achieve anonymity, if applicable, however, it is recommended for safety to obtain informed consent.

2. Requirements to send the written document: The articles or scientific writings must be submitted in digital version, to be submitted for evaluation by arbitrators specializing in pedagogy and / or education. The document will be written to a column in Word version, in normal Times New Roman font with size 12, double space will be used (from the title, to bibliographic references, without including tables and legends) in accordance with the APA standard. Pages will be numbered consecutively starting with the title page. The page number will be placed in the lower right corner of each page. The margins are: upper 2.5 cm, lower 2.5 cm, left 3.0 cm and right 3.0 cm.

The APA norm indicates the use of parenthesis for citations, the footnotes or at the end of the page are not used; this citation provides the name of the author, with the date of publication, this should take the reader to the section of bibliographic references (located at the end of the text), where the complete information of the source is found.

In the case of short textual quotations, these should be enclosed in quotation marks, the bibliographic reference should be before the textual quotation and should include the page, e.g.: Rivas (2001, p.13) proposed: "...".

For long quotations (more than 40 words), the paragraph should be written 5 spaces apart from the left margin and without quotation marks; at the end of quotations, the complete bibliographical reference including the page, example, should be written in parentheses: (Rivas, 2011, p.13). To include quotations from parts of interrupted textual paragraphs (interrupted quotation), place the bibliographic reference as it is placed in the short textual quotation with the opening of quotation marks with suspension points in parentheses and at the end of the quotation close with suspension points in parentheses, close quotation marks and write a full stop. Example: According to Rivas (2011, pp179-182), the use of pp is due to the fact that the pages cited must be named.

As indicated above, the APA design uses double spacing in everything, titles, paragraphs, references, etc.; 3 levels of titles are used, one in bold and centered, the second in italics in bold and on the left margin of the text, and the third, written in italics, period, followed by the text written continuously on the same line. As for the paragraphs, those followed by the title do not need indentation, but subsequent ones do.

The length of scientific and technological research articles can vary from 8 to 20 pages including graphics and images. Reflection and review articles should be 8 pages long.

The text of the articles will have the following structure: Title, Abstract and Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, References. In the case of long articles, the use of subtitles in the indicated sections is recommended to guarantee the reader a greater clarity of the content.

To remember.

The use of adjectives or specifications for the sexes, as well as assumptions derived from stereotypes of people, regarding their abilities, attitudes and relationships, should be avoided in writing.
Use 3rd ed. Person, avoid syntactic uses of 1st person in singular and plural. In this way the text denotes objectivity when using a standard language.
3. The article will contain: The title of the article, which must be concise, clear, informative and suggestive. Use initial capitalization and center it.

The name of each of the authors, accompanied by their highest academic degree and their institutional affiliation. They are written in 10 point New Times Roman, with initial capital letters. Each author's category should be numbered, e.g.: 1.
