Criminal responsibility of the murderers in series in the city of Barranquilla

Abstract

  In Colombia over the years there have been a number of deaths that are marked with "Serial Killers". Therefore, it has been a rather complicated subject of study. Since, deepening the analysis of this phenomenon produces that the researcher finds himself in one way or another face to face with evil. The general objective is to interpret how the Criminal Responsibility of Serial Killers in the City of Barranquilla is typified. The specific objectives are to enunciate the main characteristics of the psychology and behavior of serial killers in the City of Barranquilla and to determine the regulations that prosecute serial killers. This article is justified because it will focus on the study of the criminal responsibility of serial killers in the city of Barranquilla. The methodology used for this research is as follows, the paradigm used is the historical-hermeneutic, it has a qualitative approach, the inductive research method, the type of research is descriptive, as a technique the documentary review, the population is intentional since, we will analyze different jurisprudence issued by the Supreme Court of Justice and Doctrines that speak of serial killers. The main conclusión is that serial killers are of great importance in multifactorial origin and require a qualified and ethical intervention, especially in areas such as prevention, evaluation, and treatment.
