Abstract
This paper aims to analyze mobility in bus and urban transport system in Bogota DC, against the different capitals Europe (Berlin, Madrid, Paris, Rome and London), since public transport plays a key role how modern urban societies are formed, particularly Bogota, showing that urban improvement occurs by reaction of the market, so that such cases are contrasted with the experiences of those cities, in terms of urban planning integrated compact forms, mixed land use and construction of friendly spaces for walks and social life, in correlation with an integrated public transport, high quality and capacity, which helps achieve it.
