Abstract

This article aims to describe the effect of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, based on the 21st-century education proposed by UNESCO (2021). The study is the result of qualitative documentary  research. The method used to analyze the data was phenomenological. The corpus was conformed by 25 scientific articles published in Spanish, during the years 2020 and 2024, in academic magazines. The categories to select the data were the title of the article, the summaries, and the conclusions. The analysis of the data was developed using a matrix containing the following categories: advantages, disadvantages, and IA effects on education. The information obtained was analyzed linguistically using the informatic tool Word It OUt. The results showed that the IA has a positive effect on education; more advantages than disadvantages were observed in the corpus.
