Situational diagnosis of the children in the corregimiento La Boquilla of Cartagena

Abstract

The objective of this article was to describe the conditions currently presented by the corregimiento of the Mouthpiece so that children and adolescents do not fully enjoy their rights. To reach this porosity applied a diagnostic study corresponds to a qualitative research of exploratory and descriptive scope with a socio-legal approach. The results was  in the first instance, it was observed that children, girls and adolescents of this district are violated several of their rights as they are; the right to decent housing, since the infrastructure of these do not have the minimum conditions of hygiene, health and safety. On the other hand, they are violated, the right to education, taking into account that schools are in very bad conditions, students are exposed to at any time they fall apart, and may suffer injuries. Following this order, the right to the free development of personality is added because many of them even have to withdraw from school to get to work and take a livelihood to their home, or as is the case of girls and adolescents. staying at home taking care of their younger siblings and doing housework, or in other cases, they have to leave school to go to work and get their daily sustenance.
