Abstract

The ameloblastic fibro-odontoma (AFO) is a mixed, asymptomatic odontogenic tumor that can be confused according to its radiographic and histological characteristics with other diseases. It usually affects a population between the first and second decade of life, it is more frequent in the jaw. The lesion is characterized by a slow but expansive growth, the increase of the oral volume can cause facial asymmetry. Radiographically a well defined radiolucent image is observed, with a loculus, with an internal radiopacity, the treatment is surgical and varies according to its size. 

The purpose of the work is to describe a case of female patient of 12 years of age, with a diagnosis of AFO that compromised teeth 11, 12 and 13, conservative management was performed to preserve the teeth affected by the tumor, wait for their root formation process complete and spontaneous rash, with positive results.
