Territorial planning in Cartagena City: a dialectical relationship between sustainable development and environmental sustainability

In many countries, land use planning is identified as the use of the land compatible with the environment and the proper management of watersheds, and supplemented these with social, economic and cultural aspect.
This paper is focused on establishing a dialogue between sustainable development and environmental sustainability in the district of Cartagena de Indias, through an analysis about the progress and difficulties underlying in the territorial planning.
