Planning and management as management tools in the medium enterprises of purchase and sale of cloths of Cartagena Historical Center

This article is a product of field research conducted in the second academic term of 2008 by students of Public Accounts V half of the Faculty of Management Accountants and the Curno which are listed on the cover of the same, and developed in compliance with the Collective Work Academic Project (TAP) to be advancing as corporate strategy to promote research culture training in college.
Shows the results observed on the planning and organization in midsize companies with the management and control are essential stages of the administrative process, as they allow administrators to prepare an economic entity to deal with contingencies that present, thus maintaining a forward-looking mentality and have a purpose to improve and achieve the goals.
In Colombia, the medium-sized enterprises are an important part of generating sources of employment and boost the country's economic growth. In Cartagena those primarily engaged in activities related to the commercial sector and within this sector, aimed at socio-economic main buying and selling of fabrics play an important role in meeting the needs of members of society Cartagena. It is on this sector research was developed with the purpose of ascertaining whether they are used in planning and management organization and management strategies that enable their owners or their managers run efficiently and effectively leading organizations, which in turn ensures the growth and sustainable development of the same for either of them in particular and general household economy of Cartagena.
