Internal y external factors that affect the development and sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises

Nowadays, SMEs have become an element of profound influence in the world economy, making their participation fundamental for the development of the different countries that seek economic growth during the crises generated in a global world. This work studies the internal and external factors that affect the growth and development of SMEs with a focus on the Latin American context, based on a documentary review analysis, in which important bibliographic sources, ideas and theories are compiled and analyzed; in order to identify the elements that stimulate or limit entrepreneurship and thus, these results serve as a basis for the establishment of strategies that contribute to its promotion.
