Colombian banking system and financial education. case Davivienda Bank

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in 2005, to expound on financial education says it is a process that through understanding of financial products and financial risks users can improve their economic life.
This research aims to analyze the Colombian banking system and its relation to financial education, taking as a case study the Davivienda bank.
For the development of the above, the Colombian financial sector was analyzed, then the tools used in Davivienda Bank to educate users and the general public financially, and then propose a strategy to manage efficiently existing tools were characterized by the bank.
It is concluded that it is possible to improve existing tools through two programs that imparts the bank on financial education.
