Abstract

The objective of this paper was to analyze the institutional aspects for the transfer of university research results, through the creation of spin-off University-type companies (SOU) reported in Higher Education Institutions (IES) that offer services in the Colombian Amazorinoquia, using descriptive analysis processes with a mixed approach and applying instruments to the population sample, thus presenting an intense direct and positive relationship between the institutional factor called institutional regulations and the creation or reporting of SOU in the region IES, thus concluding that the existence of institutional regulatory elements encourages the creation of a SOU business typology by IES in the Amazon.
